Letting Negotiator
Office Location: 1 St. Katharine's Way, London, E1W 1UN
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Lettings Director to manage the existing portfolio of residential properties and maintain relationship with landlords, tenants and any other related parties.
Main Responsibilities
Letting
- Liaise with new applicants, identify their requirements and discuss suitable properties
- Conduct property viewings
- Negotiate offers between Landlords and Tenants
- Import new tenancy details into company’s tenancy progression platform
- Prepare tenancy agreements and all relevant new tenancy paperwork
- Oversee referencing and tenancy progression process for new tenancies
- Ensure holding deposit and move-in funds are in place
- Ensure lettings compliance is adhered to
Administration
- Assist with renewal paperwork
- Conduct handovers on behalf of the landlords
- Liaise with developers’ customer service team to deal with all snagging and repair issues
- Assist with dressing up apartments for photo shoot and marketing
- Monitor local authority licensing schemes requirements
- Ensure all deliveries and mails are dealt with in a timely manner
- Support Lettings Directors on reports and meeting minutes
- Support Lettings Directors with additional tasks as and when required
- Support other colleagues as required during annual leave and busy periods
Skills Required
- Ideally be ARLA licensed
- Experience in residential lettings (minimum 2 years)
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent writing and communication in English
- A can-do attitude in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent skills in the use of Mac and Apple softwares
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a keen interest of being a team player
